OneNightCup About
The original founders of this organisation are 
wolk and gizmo_o. Being inspired by similar competitions they wanted to introduce evening based events to the America's Army scene. A simple cup script and forum section on their teamsite was born quickly. A ruleset was made up and within a few weeks almost 20 cups were played by 8 to 16 teams.
Being full with ideas and aspirations wolk and gizmo_o came in touch with 
Unrated and draak, Unrated coded the whole site from ground up and draak provides the space and resources to host the website. Initially there was a Beta for an official ONC AC but this concept still remains unfinished due to unforeseen circumstances. The site was filling up pretty fast and new functions were added every week. So far over 600 people have been registered which is quite the amount seeing we only provide competition for the America's Army EU scene.
Our organisation started out with a NationCup for the America's Army EU scene which is currently in full flight. The idea behind this was to gather a crowd towards the site, as soon as the NationCup is over we will be offering what we started out with: OneNightCups. These are still essential to our being as they provide a fun and friendly environment for competition. Both elite and beginning teams can find their way in these events. ONC will remain within America's Army and looks forward to the new game which can be released anytime soon. Perhaps the future holds a place for our organisation in different games but with the much anticipated release of America's Army 3.0 we are set for the time coming.
